Exploring Options: Addressing the 41% Maintenance Fee Increase at Tahiti Village.
In recent months, many owners at Tahiti Village have expressed their outrage regarding a staggering 41% increase in maintenance fees over a two-year period. This dramatic hike has raised eyebrows, especially when you consider that the three largest timeshare companies in the United States have only seen increases ranging from 3% to 5% during the same timeframe. For many owners, the sudden spike in fees feels unjustified and has prompted discussions about potential legal action against Tahiti Village and Soleil Management.
The Case for Legal Action
We are fortunate to have a highly capable attorney who has reviewed our situation and believes we have a strong case against the management for the excessive fee increase. Legal recourse could potentially hold the management accountable and provide restitution for the financial burden placed on owners.

Have been an owner of Tahiti Village since they first built the units. Have only used it 4 times, I would love to get rid of it, even though we will be out the 17 grand we paid for it, in our golden years maintenance fees that keep going up are unaffordable.
They continue to raise the maintenance fees and pull inventory. Then it is listed on platforms such as Expedia for less than our maintenance fees. They are a fraud
18 years we have owned a Royal Tahitian and Bora Bora, yearly. Fees have been doable for us until these past couple years.. 40% in two plus years is unreasonable and very hard for many to continue to pay!!
This is way out of line . We as owners have no more rights than someone coming in under RCI . The maintenance fees should be spread evenly between all parties using the property.
I would Also Believe as A Owner We should see documentations of Work that has been Done ! Rather then Work said to be done n Never Completed! It Ok to Raise Fees to justify an expense. But not when it Continues to be a Rumor or Never Ever get Approved or Done !! Thank You !
Let’s do it. Tired of yearly increase of MF.

We need the owners listing that bylaws says we can have but met hides behind a law they say prevents them from giving it out but yet owner information is public record.
