The purpose of this petition is for The General Assembley of Maryland to pass the bill (House Bill 500) into law authorizing schools to allow students in Home Instruction programs to participate in extracurricular activities. The extracurricular activity includes interscholastic athletics, music, drama programs, student organizations, or other programs sponsored by a school outside of regular school hours.  (Please also call your delegate to voice your opinion.
