Students are returning to school in Phase 2 on March 22, and Spring sports are being permitted to begin. The momentum behind these sports programs is honestly blowing my mind right now because I really thought the odds were against us from the start. Seeing so many people jump in on this makes me think we might actually force them to pay attention to these kids who just want their seasons back (especially the seniors who have been waiting forever to get back on the field).

Seniors have had absolutely nothing this year. No homecoming, no sports, no prom, possibly graduation, heck we aren't even going to have an actual yearbook this year, give us something to actually look forward to.
Senior year, with no sports, no Senior night. It’s not right. I understand that Charles County is trying to keep us safe. But it’s not fair that other counties in Maryland have the higher cases then us and they still get to play.
It would be remiss of me not to join the parents of NPHS in saying all sports should have an equal opportunity at a season. How can we ever chose one season over another. If the students can return in-person and play spring sports, we can make a way for all sports. We can make it happen.
It’s very important for juniors and seniors to earn as many scholarship opportunities as possible, especially with a few families struggling to pay for their children’s college tuition.
I am a player at north point high school we need fall sports to help us gain better opportunities at scholarship opportunities please give us our sport back ! It helps shape us to be better individuals on and off the field

Football is my life! Imagine something you have done your whole life was taken away. That’s how I feel. I need this year for tape and college recruitment. Please let us have a season!
