The state has confirmed that Hard Labor Creek Park will not be utilized as an isolation facility. Thank you for your commitment to protecting the health and security of our community. We must continue to watch closely to ensure our town remains protected in the future.
This Petition is to prevent,Hard Labor Creek Park of Morgan county Georgia, from being an isolation camp for COVID-19. No prepping , no medical trailers or patients ! This is very important and everyone’s voice matters ! We need to come together as a community and have our voice be heard ! An “isolation camp” for this virus needs to be near airport(s) where the virus is being transported in from , close to resources and accessibility to anything needed verses a rural town . Please no don’t do this to our small towns ,our families , our children our businesses
The concerns shared regarding the use of Hard Labor Creek Park reflect the deep commitment we all hold toward the safety of our rural community. I am currently reaching out to local officials to ensure our questions about public health and resource allocation are addressed transparently. Your collective input remains vital as we monitor the situation closely.

I'm concerned about the medical workers and other people involved eating at our establishments and shopping at Dollar General Store.

This is a horrible idea! I live in Madison in Morgan County- 10 miles from Hard Labor Creek State Park. No cell phone coverage out there! The people who get seriously ill will have to be brought to our new hospital in Madison. Horrible decision for many reasons!

Please do not use our wonderful state parks. Use a military base or the empty hangers at Hartfield International....there are other alternatives.
