Please allow Chikayzea Flanders back to normal school life. His hair is a symbol of his culture and not a fashion statement. As a Sikh, we grow our hair and it is part of our religion, so I can totally understand Mrs Flanders point of view. I watched Chikayzea and his mother and is it sad to see Chikayzea start his first few days of high school this way and to be isolated seems extremely harsh, he is being treated like he has done something terrible, and no child should have to start their secondary school n this way.

Disgusting policies if it was a white kid would they have say that..if you cut is hair he will still be in trouble for having short hair ....
foolishness, complete non understanding of religion or culture. This does not send out good life lessons to a young man starting his journey into adulthood in a multicultural society , totally unfair in always
Disgusting policies made up by idiotic conformist who want everyone to be the same. How can a hairstyle affect a child's learning potential. Perhaps they need to assess their ability to teach multi faith and cultures.

Other religions and their practices are taken into consideration .Rastafarians should have the same respect. otherwise this is discrimination. it is not just a hair style. His locks symbolises his adherence to his faith.
