At St Athanasius Orthodox Christian School students are facing challenges with maintaining hairstyles because the current rules don’t allow the use of hairpieces/extensions for plaiting. Without extensions, our hairstyles don’t last, affecting our confidence and participation in school activities. The students, especially those who prefer plaiting and cultural hairstyles, struggle to keep their hair styled for school events or daily classes. This impacts our self‑expression and comfort. We propose that the school allows the use of hairpieces/extensions for plaiting. This will help us maintain lasting hairstyles, boost confidence, and embrace cultural and creative expression.

I would like our school to allow us to extend our hair. We can have a limit toward the length of the extention but may it be considered
I am signing this petition to allow hair extensions in our school.As they don't affect our learning anyhow and boost our self confidence.
Allowing hairpiece at your school would be a great thing cause other girl's hair is not suitable for freehand so hairpiece makes a change in that Soo hairpiece will decrease bullying at your school because of people's hair not being suitable
Schools should allow hairpiece/hair extensions because having our natural hair out is a bit frustrating and takes a long time to get ready in the morning which makes us late for school whereas braids make it easier to style and look very representable for school and you should allow a certain colour for braids that suit their natural hair colour. Please take this into consideration it will help
I don't see how braiding extensions can distract us from producing great marks so why are they not allowed

I believe hair doesn't cause any disruptions in the learning and it's unfair not to allow learners to plait hairpiece
