I want to make all parents aware of the fact that if your child is placed into the Seclusion Unit at Todmorden High then they are immediately refused the option of having a hot 2 course meal, instead being offered basic sandwich, biscuit and a drink! For some children unfortunately this could be their only daily hot meal!
Government Legislation states that schools MUST provide the option of at least 2 veg and 2 fruit daily.. tell me, where is the 2veg and 2 fruit in a cheese, ham or tuna sandwich?
Also secluded children are being denied any of the Intervention work they are given during a school day (vital maths and english intervention!)
I understand the school must be harsh on those children who are misbehaving.. but removing hot meals and education is NOT the way to do it. please share this far and wide and sign it also. This HAS to stop!
