A vast number of schools are providing halal only meat without the consent of parents and children. It must be made compulsory for schools to inform parents of the type of meals provided. This enables parents to make an informed decision as to which meals are suitable for their children, especially if they do not consume this type of meat due to personal & religious beliefs, such as the Sikh religion. The petition simply requests that SCHOOLS MUST GIVE ADVANCE NOTICE OF THEIR SCHOOL MEALS POLICY AND THAT IF HALAL MEAT IS PROVIDED, SO SHOULD NON HALAL MEAT ALONG WITH THE VEGETARIAN OPTION. It is only fair that in today's multicultural society, all communities are respected equally. Thank you very much for your support!

Just put the menu online so I can see it. Not that hard really.

Schools are supposed to be for everyone. Why is it so complicated to offer both options?

Parents have a right to know what their kids are eating. Shouldnt be kept in the dark about this.

My children have specific religious diets and we deserve to be told the truth about what is on the menu. Transparency is all we are asking for
