There are speculations that Dr. Hamlet's contract will be bought out, and she will be removed at the December board meeting. This act would cause a great disturbance, distraction, and discord for our students. If you support keeping Dr. Hamlet for the remainder of the school year and keeping a normal atmosphere free from distraction and change for our students, please sign this petition. Our students deserve to keep the same routine without change in the middle of the year.

Dr, Hamlett is the BEST Superintendent since Ralph Mays.. Please LISTEN to the TOWN and people that have actually met her. She is smart and she cares about the Students, Facility and Humboldt. Prayers going up for the board to be keep her. Letting her go will be a huge mistake.

And maybe, over the next few months, the Board will recognize Dr. Hamlett's vision for the school's and students and invite her to remain on task to do the work she has started.

Maintaining consistency throughout the school year creates the best climate for the students in all the schools. Dr Hamlett needs to remain

I support keeping her on. My child has enough to deal with. The kids and staff should not have to deal with anything else going on. Getting rid of her is a huge mistake.

My kids will be Pre-K and kindergarten age next school year. I've lived in Humboldt all of my life but I am looking for a place out of the district because of the way the school system is run in Humboldt.

They are acting so childish and unprofessional. They expect for our children to act a certain way and respect authority, when they have disrespected Dr. Hamlett since she has been apart of Humboldt City School System.

I am curious to why they are trying to remove her prematurely and so quickly. In my opinion, if their weren’t any hidden agendas and the morale of our schools, the students, faculty and staff were priority, then her finishing out the school year wouldn’t be up for discussion. Relationships and friendships between Dr. Hamlett and our students have been formed. We are not aware of the influence she has had on any of our students , therefore uprooting her in the middle of the school year could negatively impact them. The uproar that occurred at the school board meeting has caused enough excitement during this school year, for our students.
