To: City of Franklin
We, the residents of Westhaven have created this petition for stop signs in the East and West bound lanes of Championship Boulevard that include the intersecting streets on Championship Boulevard of State Street and Wild Elm within this subdivision located in Franklin, Tennessee.
Championship Boulevard, beginning at Stonewater, to its current end point heading east, is a staright, 1 mile section of road with no city issued stop signs or natural obstruction to deter neighborhood speeding. Vehicles are constantly speeding east and west on this street creating an unsafe environment for pedestrians, pets and other drivers turning onto this road. The Franklin City Police Department currently has documented two motor vehicle accidents at this location. Also this is a Pearre Creek Elementary School bus stop.
The residents of Westhaven agree there is an urgent need to increase the security and safety at this location by way of stop signs. Our intention is to prevent any accidents or fatalities from occurring.

Seriously dangerous spot. Why wait for a tragedy?? Put the sign up.
I almost got hit twice last week trying to pull out. Its crazy out there!
About time. That intersection is a nightmare.
My husband and I have lived here for 5 years and it only gets busier. We need a stop sign asap.
Too many kids playing in the neighborhood for people to be driving like maniacs. Fix this.
