The commencement of road works on Alfred Street, I am not sure if you are aware of what the current scenario it is there as of now.
Yes work commenced , that is true... however the length of roadworks commenced was a very short lengths undertaken at a time and months down the line there is no visible road in place. There is filling done, no asphalt in many place and the filling that is done is giving way at every possible place which now makes it even more dangerous to drive on, because of the many huge potholes filled with water and mud. Work happens in a start , stop scenario frequently and everything out together it is absolutely deplorable the condition there.
How Melton Council can allow this to happen is just beyond me, vehicles are being ruined, services are reduced to the estate and the residents are continually being put through such hardship for something so basic as a 'driveable' road. Pathetic beyond words.
We have to stand together and getreal solutions to this ongoing saga on Alfred Road. Your participation and involvement, consent and consensus on the issue at hand is important to getting the message out to various Government departments, bodies, political parties, media, etc. to raise awareness of this issue

It's important that all residents are safe whilst travelling to and from their home. At least throw down some crushed rock to make it safer while the work is getting done.
We need Alfred Road with an utmost attention and prompt action.
Pls make drivable road and access for walkways since we living here no facility and during rain it’s difficult both road like stucked in some island.
In this day and time, how can such an absolute disaster of a scenario play out with the construction of a road which is supposed to be a basic necessity of life
Please build road Alfred road in Cobblebank
Its about time Alfred road gets doe. too dangerous especially during bad weather.

Very difficult to drive and only quicker way to connect with basic services like clinics, groceries, schools, petrol, etc. if not this road, it will be about 15km extra drive for the residents on Alfred road.
