Attn: Pharmacists - Recent changes to the Pharmacy course have led to the creation of the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, with the fifth year leading to the granting of the M.Pharm. degree. This is discriminating against all graduates who have followed an identical, but differently titled B.Pharm. Hons. five year course.
We must petition the senate to allow the modification of our degree to an M.Pharm. as we have followed the same identical course, even if it will involve taking of a special credit to bring us up to same course length. This same procedure could be applied to four year pharmacy course graduates.
Please sign this petition so that we will get what we deserve!!!
I was looking over the latest messages and seeing so many people echo my frustration about the B.Pharm title was honestly overwhelming because it really proves that this isn't just me feeling like we were left behind by these changes. It feels like we are stuck in this weird limbo where the course content is identical yet the degree recognition just refuses to catch up and it is exhausting to keep explaining that we want the same credential for the same work.

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving and seeing so many fellow graduates finding this page is just wild (seriously I was worried no one else felt this way). My head is spinning a bit because it feels like people are finally noticing the unfairness of this situation so let us just keep pushing until the senate actually has to look at our case.

This degree title change is literally ruining my career prospects compared to the new cohort. DO SOMETHING.

Give us the conversion course so we can get our MPharm. Ridiculous that they wont let us update our credentials.

Worked just as hard for my degree as the new grads. Total discrimination against BPharm holders.

Its not fair that we did the exact same work but get a different title. Fix this mess already.

Same course, same exams, different qualification. Makes no sense to exclude us.
