We are petitioning against the PDDA5 coursework deadline date. We would like the deadline to be pushed to after Christmas because of the intense workload and pressure of both exams and current coursework deadlines that MPHARM 3 students are facing now. An intense timetable, alongside studying current lectures, revising from years 1 & 2 as well as completing coursework, MSCL's, placement, summer placement deadlines makes it almost impossible to find any kind of balance. The introduction of a 70% exam which does not contribute towards our degree is impacting our performance in christmas exams and coursework performance due to not having enough time to focus on any module in enough detail required.The chance to push PDDA5 after christmas will provide enough breathing room for us balance our work and aid our overall performance at the end of the year.

The volume of support reflects the widespread academic pressure facing the group. I am compiling this data to include in a formal request for a meeting with the module lead.
