Help us get access to the bike path from Blaisdell Road! Millions of taxpayers' dollars have gone into creating the Bruce Freemen Rail Trail. It promotes good health, keeps our children safe from busy streets, increases our property values, increases local commerce, helps our environment, and brings our community together. Unfortunately Blaisdell Road and the families from the surrounding neighborhoods are fenced out and kept from accessing this great community resource. We are told that town hearings were held and the decision to fence off Blaisdell was made back in 1998. Many people did not know about the hearings and many new families have moved into the area in the past 11 years. We are trying to get a current count of the people that would utilize access to the trail through Blaisdell Rd. If that sounds like you, please help and sign this petition. The more signatures we have, the greater our chances of Chelmsford officials reevaluating Blasdell access and unlocking the gate.
