I am going to appeal to our local council member to allow everyone access to a nature strip in Forresters Beach for bike riding. Please sign this petition if your child uses the track and you believe it’s presence has had a positive impact on their behaviour and our community. Let’s work together to try and secure a safe place for our children to collaborate, create and celebrate community. Both parents and students from Wamberal Public School know all too well the importance of having a safe place for kids to ride.

There is very limit facilities in FB and this was a great example of local kids making their own fun and enjoying physical activity in the great outdoors.
Great work Rach. Hopefully the people at Council can recall their childhood and remember how valuable these places are from the time the sun comes up until the street lights come on. It’s harmless and low cost entertainment which gets kids out of the house, out of trouble and keeps them fit and healthy. Win win in my view.
I see so much joy and happiness with these kids being outside and old the screens. I am happy to build the jumps for free if approved. I have an excavator and am experienced building trails, jumps etc
I’ve grown up in forris my whole life 27years beat thing was surfing forris shop and then hitting the forris bike jumps! absolutely kids these days need more adventure like this and should be able to Enjoy what we had growing up there!
My kids absolutely love it. They are older, but love helping a friend’s young boys learn to ride and jump. They’ve got their own beautiful community happening.
Wonderful community activity for these kids, keeps them safe and off the roads
