The Department of Education has confirmed that the market will remain open during the site development. It is gratifying to see our community commitment result in the preservation of this space. We will watch the upcoming construction to ensure these plans are honored.

Final supporters
Over the past year the Beaumaris Farmer's Market has become a very popular community event held each month, that has added greatly to the spirit of the local community as well as raise over $4,000 per market for charity work conducted by the Beaumaris Rotary Club.
Although the school has now closed, we believe there is enough space on the site for the market to safely continue whilst the building work is undertaken. The signatories on this petition request that the Dept of Education ensure that the wishes of the local community are listened to and that the market will be accommodated during the building work!

As a regular at the Farmer's Market I love to see the enthusiastic local people turn up, often with their children and dogs, to enjoy what is a family event for the community and supports the farmers too. Please don't let the community down or impair the Rotary charity work by ending this event..
Our markets are a very popular with residents from bayside and are helping our farmers. Please make allowances for building to work around the markets so every can enjoy this amazing resource.
there is plenty of room to keep it going, why so stall holders have to miss out on much needed income and residents miss out on their beloved market. Kill small business yet again!!!!!!
This monthly event, the Farmer's Market Organised entirely organised by unpaid volunteers, is extremely popular with the residents of Beaumaris and the residents of the surrounding suburbs, both for buying fresh, unadulterated, food and for its social implications in allowing charities such as local Rotary, Lions Club, and sporting clubs as well as educating authorities such as The University of the Third Age easier face-to-face marketing and awareness of the benefits, and contributions they make to the local community.
Please make room for the Beaumaris Farmer's Market. It is a community appreciated event for many reasons. A meeting place for older residents, family morning putting, good source of fresh food and putting money back into the community.

Being a bayside owner, rate payer and have children attending the local primary school, our local Community is so important to us. We always support local fundraising and ensure we go monthly to buy the fresh fruit and veggies from the market. Please re consider or find an alternative location so we can continue not only purchasing great produce but having another great community event where the locals can meet and socialize.
