In an effort to increase community participation from both the customer and vendor perspectives, some citizens and potential vendors would like a Plymouth Farmers' Market to be located downtown.
Specifically, a downtown Farmers' Market would:
1. Be very visible to the greater community, 2. Promote our beautiful downtown district,
3. Support local businesses,
4. Encourage non-motorized transportation, and
5. Promote healthy food options.
Please sign this petition if you support a downtown farmers' market and live or work in the Plymouth School District. I have spent this week speaking with several downtown business owners about the potential for a market in our district. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and indicates a strong desire for this project to move forward.

I absolutely love the idea of moving the farmers market downtown to the PAC grounds. There is more parking in the downtown area, it's a more visible/noticeable location and hopefully it will increase business to the local businesses as a bonus.

Hi Caren, We are in the process of contacting last years' vendors. So far, the response has been positive from them! We have worked closely with the current farmers' market managing organization, the Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization (SCIO), for this petition. We determined with SCIO if we receive 250 signatures (based on previous years' attendance), then they would begin the process of moving the farmers market downtown. The Arts Center has agreed to host! Thanks for your questions. Carrie
Just a question, what would happen to the current one at Generations? Are the vendors on board to move downtown?
This would be so great for downtown. Parking at Generations is fine but it feels disconnected from the shops. Really hope this happens!

This just in! The Plymouth Art Center has offered use of their grounds and restrooms for the Downtown Farmers Market!
