I see the crossing is being done outside the post office which is brilliant but I also feel something should be done to slow down the cars entering the village at the parochial hall side as its really hard to cross the road or pull out of the strand park with a blind corner. The cars don't slow down until they reach the shops area!!

Use to live on the main st in ballywalter... it is a dangerous road & needs speed bumps to slow down traffic... its actually amazes me that this has never happened.... safer roads = safer community!!!

Really need speed bumps on the straight bit of Rubane Road Kircubbin also. People should stick to the 30 mph speed limit especially in towns.

We need a speed ramp or something coming into ballywalter from ballyhalbert end as the cars ignore the 30mph sign and fly round the corner at the parochial hall.

As community we all need a crossing as children can't cross the busy road !! they are taking their lives in their hands,. There are alot more cars in the village than ever before.

I have 3 young children and trying to cross the road is a nightmare with the volume of traffic and the speed some of them go on it.

BCAG have been fighting for years for speed ramps on Well Road - with very little support from politicians. Time we took things into our own hands.

Need the crossing asap to prevent a serious accident
