We, the undersigned, being concerned by the speed of traffic along the Woodlands Road (B4595) in Llantwit Fardre, ask RCT Council to install a safe pedestrian crossing for the benefit of all residents. We also ask that suitable traffic calming measures are investigated.
There has been a real need for this for the last 30 years. The elderly and children have to cross this busy road also children being dropped off school buses here. Time for council to spend money where desperately needed.

Having lived on woodland park since 1981,I have witnessed the increase of traffic along woodlands road,to a level where it amounts to taking your life in your hands to cross the road.
There is only pavement on the opposite side of the main road in direction of tynant and this is where all have to cross including mothers with toddlers, the elderly, school children.its an accident waiting to happen

When I was a child I lived in the woodlands I was forever frightened crossing the road as cars drive so fast from both directions.

I myself and my children where only crossing this road this Sunday (15/01/17) when some idiot traveling down from Beddau thought he was t on the M4. I totally agree that we could do with some sort of crossing although I would suggest that it would also require some traffic calming measures

I use this road 3-4 times a day, walking the school run and walking to and from work. Too many scarey moments from speeding vehicles.

Extremely dangerous for my daughter on a daily basis crossing the road coming off school bus. Cars buses & lorries drive way too fast. Why wait until there is a fatality
