pedestrian crossing and speed bumps in Ballywalter

I see the crossing is being done outside the post office which is brilliant but I also feel something should be done to slow down the cars entering the village at the parochial hall side as its really hard to cross the road or pull out of the strand park with a blind corner. The cars don't slow down until they reach the shops area!!

BCAG have been fighting for years for speed ramps on Well Road - with very little support from politicians. Time we took things into our own hands.

Need the crossing asap to prevent a serious accident

They really are needed..its awful trying to cross the roads.

Def need something in place for crossing that main street.... a child is gonna be seriously hurt one of these days....Ballywalter is not the quiet wee village people think it is

Speed bumps are need in various places in Ballywalter espically the main street.

Use to live on the main st in ballywalter... it is a dangerous road & needs speed bumps to slow down traffic... its actually amazes me that this has never happened.... safer roads = safer community!!!

These need to be put up it is dangerous!

Roads are getting busier, cars faster and so many kids. Even hard for adults to cross the road. Something needs done..

150% needs to happen. Too many young kids running about the village and we don't want a serious accident to happen!

My dad tried for years to make this happen about time .

People drive too fast through the village and something has to be done before someone is badly hurt or even killed

I don't live in the village but visit on a regular basis and agree that cars are driving too fast through the village.
