This is to petition AGAINST rezoning from R-1, single family residential to R-3 Multiple-Family Residential of the following property:
Generally located in the NW corner of 199th Street East and Kellogg Street; North of Kwik Shop; East of Autumn Blaze; West of the Sedgwick County Fire Station in Goddard, KS (attached is a copy of the zoning area) -
We just bought our home here in June. We ruled out similar homes in another town due to the multi-family housing adjacent to them. We were told that single family homes would be built in the area of concern. We are extremely worried about the economic impact this will have on our family due to the loss of property value we will face.

We just bought our home in the neighborhood 5 weeks ago, and already things we were told are turning out to be false. Not happy!

The apartment complex would be a good benefit in town. We sure don't need apartments by one of the best housing additions in Goddard.

Where is our Mayor in all of this? She lives in our community as well.

Find a different place for multifamily housing. This needs to stay single family.
