Every day residents are wasting time looking for parcels that have been placed in the wrong location.
A compound the size and expense of Antara should have a professional operation managing deliveries.
The majority of delivery drivers do not read English and therefore cannot be expected to put their parcels in the correct location. The current solution of sending a security guard in to tidy up is not sufficient and only temporarily resolves the issue... until the next delivery driver arrives.
Please sign the petition to ask Antara management to put a proper system in place, with someone allocated to receiving parcels and ensuring they make their way to residents.

At my previous property the app would log the delivery and the packages would then be distributed by a member of staff upon arrival. Have lost many hours searching for packages sometimes for them not to be found.
Wholeheartedly support this petition, we need a more organised Mail Room. Also to add we also need a solution for food delivery guys. On an average it takes 15-20 minutes for the food to arrive from Gate till my home. Guiding the delivery guys is cumbersome given the language barrier and confusing buildings that all look same!!
I don’t like the fact the mail is unsecure and unsupervised. There should be either somebody there to receive an organize the mail from the delivery courier or a better organization system like dedicated lockers.
Someone should be receiving the parcels. I organized the mail one time and there were 5 parcels that didn’t even belong to Antara (2 were for the nurses quarters at the hospital next door, one for rihab pearl, one for district and one didn’t even have an address just said diriyah) so it is a matter of security. Parcels should be handled over to a responsible person allocated by Antara who can verify that the package belongs to a person living in the compound and to place it in the appropriate place.
Perhaps a review of the staff currently manning the gate could be undertaken as it appears to me that perhaps tasks could be reallocated amongst those employees to include receiving deliveries and properly sorting them in the parcel room. For example the employee manning the pedestrian entrance could easily take charge of this as for the most part he seems to be just sitting at his post.

The amount of time we waste in that mailroom is ridiculous. Apparently security organises the shelves but I find this never to be true. Lots of our products have gone missing too.
