Recently Temple's dormitory mailing system has switched from mail getting directly sent to the dorms, to all mail getting sent to one headquarters, getting sorted, and then sent to the dorms.
This has caused a lot of mail to show up days, or even weeks late, after being delivered to the new headquarters. This is extremely hindering for students that are waiting for books and important school supplies. It is also unfair for students that paid extra for something to be delivered Next-Day or in 2 Days.
We do not want this new mailing process to continue to cause students trouble, and frustration. Sign this petition to let Temple University & the city of Philadelphia know that you want this problem to be fixed.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people are feeling this same frustration with the mail system. This momentum belongs entirely to the students who stepped up to demand a better process.

I agree that this is a problem . . . but to be fair, there is only one person sorting all of that mail. Maybe if would be better if they hired some more mail sorters!
Getting my prescription refill sent from home because my insurance doesnt cover it out of state, but the delivery is taking almost a week longer than it should, meaning I am missing doses.
Last year I got my packages within a day or two of the actual delivery date. I've been waiting for my package that was delivered 3 whole weeks ago! Fix it Temple
Received a letter postmarked on 8/31, yesterday it came on 9/12. Very frustrating
I had points deducted for one of my classes because I didn't have my text book that I ordered beaus it took the system 2 weeks to process it and get it to me. PLEASE fix this

Not fair to the students paying thousands of dollars to live in the dorms. Hire more people or let the temple post office people handle it like before!
