I would suggest sending the petition to the postmaster in charge at the Evans St facility. The PO has been on a campaign for years to remove what they call under performing mail boxes. We lost our mailbox at 43rd and Fulton a few years ago and it is inconvenient to loss a box. The petition hopefully will restore the box.
I'm a 20 year resident in the Outer Richmond and mailboxes are always great to have. Please bring this one back!
Please return the mailbox at 22nd Avenue & California. It's been an icon for many years and is important for people needing a place to take there mail without having to go to the Post Office.
This was my favorite go to mailbox. so handy when getting a coffee ,a bit of laundry done,and posting my letters and Netflix. please,bring our letterbox back! resident of the neighborhood. Dede Estey
Removing mailboxes because the volume of mail has dropped = a self-fulfilling prophecy. Also just how CAN one reach a U.S.P.S. human with some authority? I suggest people contact their U.S. Senators’ and Representatives offices for assistance with federal matters. They actually really DO help!

really miss that mailbox! please return one to this central hub of activity that enabled easy access to many for so many years. shame to lose it!
