The Liberty Hill Post Office is reorganizing the boxes in many sections of Santa Rita Ranch. This move goes into effect on 10/26/22. If you are NOT IN FAVOR of this move due to its inconvenience, lack of logistical logic, fear of complicating mail delivery or any other reason, please share your objection by signing this petition.

I understand that the Liberty Hill post office is receiving complaints about the current locations of some mailboxes. I also understand they are blaming the developer for initially setting up things incorrectly. I have lived here for over 7 years and my mailbox is on my own block, where it should be. This feels like the post office is taking the easy way out of fixing whatever problems they are having instead of fixing their own internal processes. The homes that are being affected by this move are not new. This section has been developed for a long time so this sudden rearranging doesn't make sense.

We have been here for 6 years and the mailbox that we were assigned when we moved in is right out our front door. Besides the location of our mailbox, we already have so many issues with reliable delivery, it seems that this will only cause confusion and make delivery worse. I understand there have been some very vocal neighbors complaining about their mailbox location, but with the inconvenience that this will cause to many neighbors, I feel like this is causing more problems than it will solve.

My mailbox is right beside my house. No reason to moved my box down the street. I don't have any problems with me mail. I think if it moves, there will be alot more problems with delivery.

This is a terrible move that could be solved if the developer added a few boxes. It is unclear to me, as a developer, why this wasn't done correctly to start with.

I am in front of the mailbox. It does not make sense to move me another block.

I spoke with Sharon at the LH USPS on Friday and again this morning; she says it's b/c the developer put the mail boxes in all out of order. I spoke with the postmaster, Derrick McLaren and suggested why don't they see if the developer will relocate a few PO boxes so they can make it more logical on their end, rather then make this move and irritate so many postal customers? Call 512-515-6293 and let Derrick know that we don't want this disruption.
