The US Post Office located on Main Street in Oakland Park is a classic example of a bad neighbor. It does not maintain its property, it creates noisy disturbances after hours and throughout the night, it races commercial vehicles – including noisy semi-tractor trailers – throughout our residential neighborhood, and it demonstrates a general disregard for the health, welfare, safety, environment, peace and quiet of the community in which it resides.
Please show your support for the City of Oakland Park to initiate solutions to curb the truck traffic through our residential neighborhood, to eliminate the nightly after hour disturbances emanating from the Post Office loading dock and parking areas, and for the Main Street Post Office to clean up, repair, and improve its facility and grounds to conform with the Oakland Park Main Street urbanscape.

I agree. This has been going on for years! Leaf blowers at 4 A.M. Noisy trucks all night long.

In very early morning hours Trucks beep their horn to announce arrival rather than cell phone call. Employees do not communicate quietly in parking lot; frequently distubing me while in home office both early mornings and late evenings. Frequently awoken by loud truck backup warning signal in very early morning hours.
