I would suggest sending the petition to the postmaster in charge at the Evans St facility. The PO has been on a campaign for years to remove what they call under performing mail boxes. We lost our mailbox at 43rd and Fulton a few years ago and it is inconvenient to loss a box. The petition hopefully will restore the box.

Come on USPS. Some of us like to write letters and send cards via the post. Why this service would stop is not a great idea, especially in wht some people call, not me, the suburban section of the City.

Please return the mailbox at 22nd Avenue & California. It's been an icon for many years and is important for people needing a place to take there mail without having to go to the Post Office.

This was my favorite go to mailbox. so handy when getting a coffee ,a bit of laundry done,and posting my letters and Netflix. please,bring our letterbox back! resident of the neighborhood. Dede Estey
