Greetings! The citizens of Bainbridge Island recently voted to support the purchase of the 23-acre Sakai Property across from Ordway Elementary School on Madison Avenue.

As a signer of this petition, you are declaring your support to establish youth athletic fields at this newly conceived park. Youth athletic fields that support the sports of soccer, lacrosse, football, ultimate frisbee and more is what we would like to see. As of today, there is no commitment for fields at this park. Your signature is important to communicate to the Bainbridge Island City Council, Bainbridge Island Planning Commission, Bainbridge Island Parks and Recreation and the Bainbridge Island City Manager.

• I support lighted fields for use after daylight hours since we live in a place that gets dark early a good part of the year.
• I am a resident, parent, player or other Island community member who lives on Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 and supports athletic opportunities for Islanders!
