I was just at the grocery store and heard two parents whispering about the costume ban in the cereal aisle which just goes to show how much this is still bothering everyone. It is honestly so frustrating that the administration thinks we just forgot about this but I am putting together some of the stories you guys left in the comments because they deserve to see exactly how much this fun day meant to the kids.

I remember wearing my costume to school and it was the best part of being a kid. Sad that these poor students are missing out on such a simple joy.
This is ridiculous. Kids wait all year to dress up and show their friends. Why ruin the fun?
Total buzzkill. Fix this.
My son has been looking forward to this all month. It is just one day of the year let them have some fun for once.

seriously? its a costume. nobody is getting hurt. stop being so strict guys.
