The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to formally request a meeting with the administration regarding Halloween activities. I am currently drafting a letter to present our position to the principal later this week.

This is my last year as a student at STA and it saddens me to know I will not be able to fully celebrate the holloween spirit and be able to wear a costume
Don't go to STA anymore but seriously... if somebody is dressed inappropriately or break the rules, send them home, discipline them, not all 2000 of the students.
This is a school that i attend every day right???? So TEACH students how to be appropriate.
so in my senior year they take away group grad pics && now halloween...wowow okai
As long as theres no harm done let us have atleast a little bit of fun, individuality and creativity in our lives.
What's the fun in Halloween if you can't go dressed up with a costume? They aren't asking much, they aren't asking for a party, they only want to have fun in halloween, dressing up wherever they like.
I mean we could all just dress up anyway regardless if they cancel it or not. It's not like they could just send 2000 people home for the day. Strength in numbers you know

Halloween at sta was literally one of my favourite days to be at school, it was sick to see everyone dress up and complimenting each others costumes! It was bad enough the school made you pay $2 to dress up but to cancel it all together? I hope you guys get your Halloween back
