The administration has acknowledged the current level of interest in the gown policy. I am preparing a formal request for a meeting with the graduation committee to present our proposal for color choice.

all black is boring and honestly kind of depressing. we worked hard for 4 years let us actually show some school spirit.
let us choose. its our graduation not the admin's.
seriously who decided we should all look like we are attending a funeral? bring back the red gowns.
If you’re able to choose the color you want to wear, it’s not sexist. I’m a female that doesn’t look good in red/ doesn’t like the color. So i’ll wear black. If some guy looks good in red then go for it. Our school colors are not black and black. They’re black and red. I don’t want graduation looking like a funeral.
I’d love red and black instead of just black because it’s OUR graduation not a funeral!
This is silly let the kids choose.
