The Intersection of Hwy 66 and FM 36 are always congested from 7 o'clock to around 8:40. Traffic is always backed up on 36 due to the lack of a Traffic Light to help keep the congestion down. Our town in growing and to meet this safety issue head on we need to do something about it before more accidents happen.

I am currently gathering traffic flow data and collision reports from this intersection to build a formal case for the Department of Transportation. My next step involves submitting these findings alongside our current signature count to the county engineer.

Yes, Caddo Mills needs a light at this intersection. I avoid this intersection at all cost because you can't get onto Hwy 66.
The intersection at 36 and 66 is a death trap i havent witnessed any wrecks but seen some
when I take or pick up my grand children to or from school it is very busy and dangerous, there needs to be a traffic light!
Should of been a very long time Very dangerous intersection I've almost been hit multiple times

I'm all for the new intersection as long as my road, (Dixie St) doesn't become heavily congested. I'm already having a problem with people flying down in the mornings because it gets backed up by the old florist. There are children and animals that live on this road and its becoming extremely dangerous for my kids to be in the yard in the mornings.
