Traditional Graduation ceremony for Germantown highschool seniors at a later date

- Parents of the Germantown high school seniors would like a traditional graduation ceremony and not a virtual and drive thru. Schedule it at a later date. They have worked so hard for this!

Spend two minutes and look at what other schools that care for their students are doing. Like Sussex. Holding the ceremony in July, and if need be, will live stream it if no audience is allowed. Kids get to walk the stage. Also where are the senior class funds going?
Miller Park is available for Graduations- Franklin, DSHA, and Oak Creek to name a few are all having their graduations there. Would like to see the Board put more effort into sourcing out other options for a graduation- Perhaps none of the Board Members have a graduating Senior this year?
Our kids have lost so much in their last year of high school PLEASE honor them & give them a normal graduation! Use the school football field or Washington County Fair Park with social distancing WHEN ITS SAFE ENOUGH
My son has autism. A drive through ceremony creates no ‘end’ of high school for him. We are more than willing to wait for the real thing. He’s waited 19 years to have this experience what’s a few more days
The Seniors deserve to have some type of traditional graduation. We’re not picking up “take-out” dinner here, it’s acknowledging four years of a high school education. Please don’t take the easy way......put some effort and time into this for the seniors. Thank you
Other schools are figuring it out. Gtown can as well.
I don’t understand why we can’t wait even just a couple of weeks to see if anything changes. So many changes are happening in a short time. Also why can the gyms be open with locker rooms being used but they can’t have an outdoor ceremony for our kids! It makes no sense!!

These seniors deserve a ceremony!! Don’t take this away from them. This is a time in a kids life they never forget!! I graduated from Germantown in 2003 and these kids deserve to have the same memories we all have!! Come on Germantown do what’s right for the class of 2020
