I don’t understand why we can’t wait even just a couple of weeks to see if anything changes. So many changes are happening in a short time. Also why can the gyms be open with locker rooms being used but they can’t have an outdoor ceremony for our kids! It makes no sense!!

Whatever you decide, a good and solid explanation needs to come regarding the survey that we completed. To have graduation be in this format after that one yes/no question on the survey should tell you a lot regarding this petition and the response to the Board's and administration's decision on this event.

The seniors got the short end of the stick their last year of school and now you want to have a half way graduation. There is no where we can do this that is outside and a large area?

Class of 2020 deserves the closure of being with their class one last time. Give the time and effort into making this the graduation ceremony they’ve earned!

Let the outdoor graduation ceremony happen while maintaining social distancing. Let the graduates families make the decision if they want to attend or not. The class of 2020 missed out on a lot and deserve to be walking across the stage. Congratulations class of 2020

We the parents and tax payers of the Germantown School District found a way to give the High School beautiful new facilities. The School Board can FIND A WAY to honor these students properly! MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Graduation is a right of passage for these kids. Plan the outdoor graduation and let the families decide if they want to attend. Leave the decision Up to each graduate and their family.

I am hoping that somehow plans can be revised to allow the 2020 class of GHS to hold a walk across the stage graduation.

This is a right of passage that no high school student should be denied! This is the least they could do after ALL these students worked so rigorously. They will agree to do it safely, but PLEASE allow them to DO IT!!!
