I have been reading through all your comments and it is clear that we all feel the same gap where this milestone should be. I am currently working on a proposal to present to the administration so they understand that a screen is just not the same as walking across that stage with our families watching.

Seeing this much energy behind our cause proves that I am not the only one who refuses to let our final year end behind a screen. Your encouragement feels like a win for every student who deserves to walk across that stage in person.

Ridiculous. Nobody wants to sit through a zoom call for 3 hours. Push it back.
i put 4 years into this school i want the real thing. please let us have our ceremony.
POSTPONE IT. We want to walk across that stage and see our friends one last time. Dont take that away from us.
Makes zero sense to do it online when everything is opening back up. Have the ceremony in the summer.
Virtual graduation is just not the same. We worked way to hard for this to just stare at a laptop screen.

My son deserves to have his moment. Everyone is getting vaccinated soon anyway so just wait a few months!
