This is a petition to allow homeowners within the Tortosa subdivision to park small utility trailers in their own driveways. The trailers would be required to be maintained in a manner consistent with the guidelines for vehicles. If the homeowner of a property is notified in writing (via the HOA) of no less than 3 complaints related to a trailer parked on his/her property, the HOA will give the homeowner no less than 14 days to resolve the situation in a manner acceptable to the HOA.

For example, I am a homeowner in Tortosa and I have a 5x8 utility trailer that is well maintained (purchased approximately 4 months ago). In July, my father in law passed away and my family has occasionally moved furniture and other items from his house to ours using the trailer. According to the HOA, even if the trailer is in our driveway, attached to our vehicle and we are unloading or loading it, it is still a violation of the CC&R's and we would like this to be changed.
