Our house in the Overlook also backs up to 126th street. I share the petitioners concern and want to make sure our neighborhood is a neighborhood that shows quick to sell when houses go up for sale. I also worry about safety for our 1 year old too!

I would support a berm or brick/stone wall but not a fence. Would also support a gate at entrances

This has been a concern and challenge of ours as well since closing on our home 6 months ago. Our new home backs up to 126th street as well. The commons landscaping is scarce and the berm actually has a break directly behind us providing no real barrier. During the sales process we were made aware that we could install a fence on our property; however, I found out well into the building process that only a wrought iron fence is allowed which of course doesn't do us any good. I think a wooden fence and a denser wood line is a simple fix to this problem.
