Hello Fellow Neighbors!
Please join me in voicing our safety concerns for the baby pool in our wonderful neighborhood, Thorpe Creek. I have personally spoken with many of you regarding our general concerns of not having an enclosure around the baby pool. After speaking with Dana Snider Gray (our neighborhood HOA Laison) she asked me to have any neighbors who share this concern email her so that it can be put on the agenda before opening the pool next season. I recognized the fact that our goal of safety is better voiced as a whole rather than individual emails and thought this petition would be an easier and quicker outlet for us to express a united desire.
Should you care to join myself, and many others, in our effort to increase the safety in our wonderful neighborhood, please sign this petition. Many other neighborhoods have an enclosure or gated off baby pool. I have attached a photo of the baby pool in Avalon solely for the purpose of demonstration.
Obviously, a safety barrier does not take place of parental supervision. This enclosure would simply provide peace of mind for when our children run to get a ball or dart to greet their new friends at the gate. This is just another step to minimize accidents.

This really doesn't impact us much now, but am all for minimizing the risk of any accidents! We lived in Avalon when my boys were babies & really appreciated the gated baby pool there.
our home is being built on lot 35 ... overlook ... I'm all for a gate
I am for it if it will keep the little ones safer.

Having a gate there would be such a huge relief. My toddler is so fast and it only takes one second for him to run off. Thanks for getting this started!
