THIS PETITION IS REQUESTING THE INVOLVEMENT OF LIFE UNIVERSITY TO CONTINUE ONLINE LEARNING AT HOME & ON-GROUND LAB.

In the height of the pandemic in Marietta GA; where there is an increase of 164 new cases as of Oct 25, I would like to know what precautions the campus faculty and staff are taking to keep us safe on campus. Some teachers are introducing trying to take tests on campus, with no students wearing masks or teachers. From being online since April 2020 to now coming into a classroom to take an exam; we are used to not having anyone on the same floor let alone room to take a test . Students have got accustomed to test taking strategies while taking an exam to now having teachers walk around and monitor us (similar to intimidation tactics). Some teachers are giving exams within the time period of class time but are forgetting about not everyone lives on campus and everyone Cannot get access to a study room in the library. Contrary to the library being a marketplace with loud noise and people constantly walking back and forth, it is not a testing center. Many students have complained of testing shutdown of the commotion of people walking back and forth and side conversations in the library. I see no students and faculty, nor president while talking in lectures taking measures to remind students of the mask mandate that are on posters posted around campus. I am afraid of this pandemic that we are still in and feel completely unsafe on campus. Im not understanding the increase in tuition and fees, when they are no extra measures that the school is taking to be safe. I don't see an increase in PPE, parking spaces, nor studying equipment for students.
