Hello my fellow Falcons. As I am sure you have all heard, Mr. Warner will be leaving St. FX due to the lack of job positions at our school. Many have either had Warner as a teacher or coach. I am starting this petition to not only show the school board how much Warner has impacted many of the students, teachers and parents at St.FX but also to show HIM how much we have loved having him as a teacher, role model, coach, and inspiration.
My personal experience of having Warner as my teacher and coach has not only impacted my education in positive way but it has also encouraged me as young athlete and young adult to work hard for what I want. He has taught that when I do something, no matter if I enjoy it or not, to strive to do my absolute best in EVERYTHING that I do. He has taught me the importance of friendship and teamwork. That being an athlete on a team sport is not only about working to improve and hone my own skills but to help and encourage my teammates in doing the same for each other. So that we aren't just good players on our own but we are great players together.
I can speak for most of the other girls on my team, and I am sure for many other students at St.FX that Warner has taught us to have a confidence in ourselves and our abilities. He made us realize our full potential, even though sometimes he had to push us past our comfort zone to get there. He has been a father figure to many and a person to trust by all. He was truly someone EVERYONE looked up to. No matter where he ends up we will all feel blessed to have had him as a teacher and coach but by signing this petition we can at least try our hardest to show the school board why he should stay at St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School. Although he will definitely be an asset anywhere he goes.

I'm a parent of STFX and was very upset to hear that we are loosing Mr. Warner. He is definitely one of our more dedicated teachers. He is resourceful and is very dedicated to his students. Please reconsider
I never had him personally as a teacher, however, a lot of my friends did. Seeing the way he impacted them renewed my faith in the education system. Please keep him, he doing an amazing job!
I presently have to children at St.Fx, Mr. Warner was my son Science teacher. When my son showed difficulty it was Mr. Warner who contacted me and rectified the situation. Mr. Warner is alsi my daughter's basketball coach he showed patient, kindness and taught my daughter how to be part if a team. I reach out to him on few occasions and he was kind, prompt, couteous. I hate to see him leave it would be a shame to loose him as he has shown dedication and commitment to his students and his peers. Thank you
Not only has Mr.Warner been the reason I made it through academic classes, his constant reassurance and uplifting spirit has given me the strength on a countless number of times to just "take it one step at a time". His famous quote that he would use just in time to stop the water works from starting. I'll never be able to thank him for the person he's shaped me into today
Warner hasn't been just an amazing coach but he was like a father figure to me and I can't bare lose someone as special to me as him. It broke my heart knowing the person I trusted the most was being transferred so I am willin to do whatever it takes to keep my number one fan at the school he belongs to.
#SaveWarner He's the reason I even joined sports at StFx.

Mr Warner gave a group of students one of the best experiences of high school when he organized a trip to Europe. Experiences like this give students a broader understanding of the world around them and in this case a better understanding of Canada's role on the global stage. It takes a special teacher to take on an adventure of this magnitude. Mr. Warner gave those kids a trip of a lifetime and I think it helped our son set a course for his future. St FX will be losing a teacher that can truly make a difference in kids lives by making them believe in themselves.
