Mr Warner taught me in grade 9, and was my basketball coach through grade 8 and 9. Sadly I moved away, and I can still say to this day that Mr.Warner was one of the best teachers and coaches I have ever had!!! This man deserves to know how appreciated he is!! :)

BRING BACK WARNER, St. FX won't be the same without him. I'd like to spend my last year of high school knowing my favourite teacher is always there when I need help.

Mr Warner gave a group of students one of the best experiences of high school when he organized a trip to Europe. Experiences like this give students a broader understanding of the world around them and in this case a better understanding of Canada's role on the global stage. It takes a special teacher to take on an adventure of this magnitude. Mr. Warner gave those kids a trip of a lifetime and I think it helped our son set a course for his future. St FX will be losing a teacher that can truly make a difference in kids lives by making them believe in themselves.

I've haven't had the pleasure of having Warner as a teacher, but the enthusiasm i saw in him during our Europe trip in 2013 is something to be admired!

I'm a parent of STFX and was very upset to hear that we are loosing Mr. Warner. He is definitely one of our more dedicated teachers. He is resourceful and is very dedicated to his students. Please reconsider

Although I doubt that things are as simple as just being able to retract a decision on the board's part, and realistically there's more than a few moving pieces involved in this, I'd like to say my piece and and show my support. Mr. Warner was a teacher that I only had twice, if I recall correctly, but in that time, I learned everything I needed to know about him to understand his character. He, much like most of the other staff at St. Francis Xavier, is a teacher that really and truly cares about his students, and goes the extra mile to help them with their problems, both inside and outside the classroom. During a time where I really wasn't all too sure what I wanted to do after high school, he let me talk it through with him one-on-one, openly and honestly. What little time I had with him in the classroom, he left a strong imprint on me as someone to look up to and be like. Mr. Warner, along with many of the other teachers at St. Francis Xavier, serve as no less than an inspiration to me to go through the schooling I am to become a teacher myself. In the end, though, if he's needed somewhere else, he's needed somewhere else, and at the very least we can be thankful for the time we've shared with him. Nothing lasts forever, and nothing stays the same. He's not gone, he's just going away.

Although I never had him as a teacher, it was easy to see the difference his presence made in the school after he arrived. Current Students and past students around me talked, and talk so fondly of him; not to mention some of my friends from the school he taught at before coming to us, they were so sad to see him go, and said we were lucky to have him. Although st. Fx has many wonderful teachers, and I would sign this for almost any one of them, Mr. Warner really has made an overall difference to the spirit of the school, and it would be a shame to see him go.
