To all current and former students of Mr. Rollfinke:
We are incredibly frustrated and deeply disappointed to learn that Friends School will not be renewing Mr. Rollfinke's contract next year. We started this petition because he is one of our favorite teachers in the nine years we've been at Friends School. He is an excellent and supportive teacher as well as a great coach. He has positively impacted over 1,000 students in his 30 years of teaching and coaching at Friends. Please sign this petition if you agree that the school should reverse this decision.

Academic outcomes matter at educational institutions and Brian prepares students to achieve. He’s also a caring and committed teacher who motivates children and provides valuable guidance and support. His commitment to the Friends community has been stellar. It is wrong to force him to leave that community after 31 years.
Mr. Rollfinke is one of the good guys! This is a loss for the FSB community. Praying it's not too late to rectify the situation. What other teacher stays until 6:00 pm every day offering free tutoring to his students? This is dedication and should be appreciated.
For me Mr. Rollfinke's room is a safe place. I can go in their at Morning break, and be able to express myself in my own mathy ways, and I don't want to lose that as I become an 8th grader next year. Please help us save our favorite Math Teacher.
He made me fall in love with math! I don’t think I would have been as open to math because of him! I really enjoyed going to his class. 7th grade was very tough for many reasons but his class was a place where I was always laughing. Also people still call me Siseneg which is crazy cause that was 8 years ago.
Mr. Roll is one of the best baseball coaches i’ve Ever had and one of the better math teachers i’ve Ever had. The fact that he’s being treated this way by a school he’s done so much for is appalling. Good luck finding a better math teacher/ baseball coach who is so passionate about both.
This hasn't been done right, but it's not too late to fix it. The half of the community that's upset will forgive you if you fix it, Matt.

Mr. Rollfinke was amazing at teaching complicated and abstract math concepts in a way that made sense to middle schoolers. I was able to succeed in my future math classes because of the excellent foundation I received in Mr. Rollfinke’s class. He cares a great deal for every student’s academic and personal growth.
