A proposal has been submitted to the association board
requesting the appropriation of $34,820 in association funds to build a
playground in Crofton Park. The playground would include a natural-colored play
structure serving children ages 2-12, four swings (two tot and two belt), two
benches, timber border and ground cover.
This project would be paid for by existing association funds. The association currently has more than $80,000 in reserves. Residents would not have to pay any additional fees.
A playground is more than just a safe place for children to play. It helps create and strengthen neighborhood connections, instill a sense of community, improve property values and draw in potential home buyers.
Approval of at least 51% of property owners -- 150 homes -- is needed to use association funds for building the playground. Signatures will be collected from January 20 to April 20.

Finally! My kids are so bored in the summer. This would be a great addition to the area.
looks like a nice plan. hope they start work before the summer rush.
ABOUT TIME. Its crazy we have been here 5 years and not one swing set for the little ones.
long overdue. we pay dues for stuff like this just sitting in a bank account. get it built.

So excited for this!! My toddler needs a place to run around and meet other neighbors.
