Petition to Ten Trails HOA Board

We, the undersigned residents of Ten Trails, respectfully oppose the proposed increase in HOA dues attributed to recent vandalism at Civic Park.

While we recognize the importance of maintaining our community spaces, we believe the association should revise its existing budget to account for potential vandalism rather than passing additional costs to homeowners.

Possible alternatives may include:
• Reducing the number of hanging baskets,
• Scaling back or adjusting community events,
• Reallocating funds from non-essential expenses.

We urge the HOA Board to reconsider this proposed dues increase and explore budgetary adjustments that preserve the affordability and fairness of living in Ten Trails

I have been living in the TenTrails community and HOA dues are always been a concern. A year ago I joined one of the meetings to see if they can cut down spending at least on flowers buckets at that time it was adding some $100K to the budget, they simply dismissed it. I personally think we are spending too much on landscaping and all other.

There are already 20+ re sale homes for sale in the neighborhood. Rising HOA cost are not going to attract more people in the neighborhood. It’s a public park that use and HOA dues should not be used for public amenities!

Developers - Please learn to be more fiscally responsible by reallocating funds instead of increasing dues. You're not going to sell more homes with higher HOA dues. Also, when repairing vandalism, maybe consider materials that are not as easily damaged. Thank you!

I moved into Ten Trails almost five years ago and since then the HOA has increased almost $200 per quarter…that’s almost $800 each year. Now increasing again due to vandalism at a public park?

I support reallocating budget money instead of raising HOA dues. I would happily get rid of hanging baskets and community events if it meant maintaining or reducing budget costs.

Install cameras without charging the owners. Install cameras at all critical areas in the neighborhood. This is an example of a risk that HOA has to mitigate and take ownership without passing on the cost to Owners.

There have been ongoing concerns regarding the HOA management team’s responsiveness and approach to residents. Improved communication, transparency, and professionalism would go a long way toward rebuilding trust within the community. There appears to be a tendency for spending decisions to reflect personal preferences or associations, rather than prioritizing the overall wellness of the community.

This is unacceptable. We already don’t see much value for what we currently pay, and now we’re being asked to pay extra. Just to see the front area cleaned once a quarter was a big deal. The HOA management and their team have been consistently difficult and unhelpful to deal with. I see no justification for increasing the dues under these circumstances.
