Please sign this petition in protest of the increased HOA dues from the initial $185 to the current $240 or late fee penalties of $40 with $20 monthly payments. The dues increased in 2015.
As residents we have no amenities. The increase is unjustified with no communal improvements to benefit the subdivision.
The vacant new constructions are logically a factor causing the increase. This is not an expense current owners should subsidize. They are the builder D.R. Horton's economic responsibility.

I have been reviewing our financial records and talking to neighbors who are equally frustrated by these rising costs. It is clear that we are expected to pay for the builder's overhead while our own neighborhood goes without a single promised amenity. We are currently preparing a formal letter to challenge the board on why we are subsidizing these vacant lots.

Seeing this level of support confirms that I am not the only neighbor struggling with these unfair costs. Our momentum proves that the board cannot continue to ignore the financial burden they have placed on our families.

I am signing this petition to lower the dues. We already had to deal with no one knowing who was handling the account for December 2016 and no information to contact anyone directly , then all of a sudden we were hit with a bill with a late fee interest.
The so call playground is a joke /no one in their right mind will allow their child or children to play down in that hole in the ground. Use the playground for something else like a gym,tennis court, or basketball court.
We have a walking trail and playground that are clearly not maintained with our dues. Unless those areas are upgraded and other amenities added, I do not see how an increase in dues can be justified.
Yes, fees are too high and do not need an increase. I believe another amenity to consider is a storm shelter, but I don't know how much that would effect fees.
I agree. We have nothing to show for our dues but half working lights, unusable park and foreclosed homes. They are sticking homes in whatever spot they can find.
They keep going up on HOA fee and we have nothing here. It’s other community that fees aren’t this high and there nice subdivision we don’t have club house so that we can do small gathering additional parking but they keep going up on HOADues
The fees are ridiculous and nothing is being done for them to be increased.. they are also charging fees just to be doing so... these people are petty and u wonder why people are moving in and out!!!

We are disappointed about the increased fees. There isn't any efficient street lighting, the front entrance isn't decorated for the holidays and the empty lots are not kept. Why the increase? It's not fair for us to pay higher fees for the things that the builder should be taking care of.
