We, the residents of Woodson’s Reserve, are requesting a reduction in our local property tax rates.

At the recent public meeting, the Board of Directors for WCID 205 and MUD 152A voted to keep current rates at 0.35% and 1.1% respectively — without any reduction.

These rates continue to place an unfair burden on homeowners. The Board members who make these decisions do not reside in Woodson’s Reserve and pay only a fraction of what residents do:

• Average WCID Board tax bill: $1.93

• Average Woodson’s Reserve resident bill: $2,214

• Average MUD Board tax bill: $3.03

• Average resident bill: $6,958

We urge the Boards to reconsider and lower our tax rates to reflect fairness and community representation.

By signing below, I support lowering the tax rates for WCID 205 and MUD 152A and urge the Boards to revisit their recommendation before final approval next month.

We have lived in the Woodlands for 27 years prior to moving to Woodson's Reserve. Shocked at our water taxes here!!! It was never mentioned by the sales manager. Paying for the infrastructure should be the developers responsibly

Living in Woodsons Reserve for 3 years and the taxes are just getting out of control. We need some relief.

How is it fair that board members pay 3 dollars while we get hit with these huge bills? Needs to change now.

Please reconsider lowering the tax rate for our WCID 205 and MUD 152A. I believe that the high rate is taxing some people out of their homes.

Real Board member should be decision makers, no people leaving out of the community paying minimum tax compliance $3

Please lower the rates we're being taxed to the extreme. Also, this is a great time to revisit the homestead exemptions.
