There are people that believe that after the horrific crime that happened in this building on Oct 24th 1984, it is long over due for this building should be taken down. Why can't a memorial as someone has suggested be placed here honoring little Angela Palmer? It is time - way past time for this to be done.
I remember this night way too well. horrific night to say the least. This house should go, and a memorial put up.

I don't feel that this building should still be standing. I've seen buildings condemned that didn't need to be and knocked down but no let's keep a building that everyone knows had horrible things happen in it. It's not right.

For the love of God, and Angela, please, take this building down. It's a very sad memory to many in the Lewiston/Auburn area.

A memorial for this Child is all good but just remember someone owns this building and has money invested in this building so who is going to pay this man what he feels his property is worth? I don't think they could just say here's the building I have been investing in for x amount of years so I can have a retirement nest egg in my old age but here you go I will go without that retirement money.

I agree I also grew up in Auburn Maine and also live in Orange park FL. Whenever I drive by that place it gives me the creeps! It's just a reminder of a horrible tragedy!. I'd love to see a memorial in place of that horror story...
