Justice for Kaniah Jennings – Protect Her Memorial
We, the undersigned, call on Hayti City Hall to take immediate action to protect and preserve the memorial dedicated to Kaniah Jennings.
Kaniah Jennings, just 18 years old, was brutally murdered. She was kidnapped from her home, subjected to rape and torture by four individuals, and tragically lost her life. Her memorial is a sacred place of remembrance, yet items have been stolen.

This monument needs to be protected for what was done to this young lady was so brutal that nobody should ever forget what was done to her, but also that she will never have her light shut out permanently!!!!!!! Let Kaniah's light shine. In fact there needs to be 18 crosses or the town should put up a stone monument!!!!!
She deserves to rest in peace! Her memorial is sacred to her family and friends and should be protected at any cost.
Allow this community to keep this memorial in memory. The community needs to remember Kaniah . Her family, friends and classmates deserve this and so much more!!! Give them time to grieve properly.
