Petition To Demolish The Orange Building On Raleigh Street And Add a Fence
The orange building on Raleigh Street has been vacant and boarded up for 25 plus years. There are safety and health concerns. The building has a path that begins on Raleigh street and ends on Hancock Street. Safety is a serious concern. There have been drug sales, fighting, people hanging out in the back of the building , individuals dumping trash on property, graffiti on building, crowds of people hanging out, and shooting to name a few. There is also a health concern that the paint on the building is made out of lead which can cause many health issues. By signing this petition you are agreeing that the Orange building should be demolished and a fence should be added.

I have been hearing so many stories from neighbors about how this building has impacted your lives over the years. It is clear this goes much deeper than just an eyesore and I am truly humbled to see that so many of you share this concern.

No one wants an ugly building beside their home that they work hard to pay for. Tear it down if it serves no purpose! Its dangerous & an eye sore! Get rid of it!
Keep community safe . Please knock down this building. We have children playing in this area please make it safe.
I agree that the Orange building needs to come down; it has been vacant for too long!!! THANK YOU
It is long over due a empty. building. Can create lots of problems rats and all other animals can hibernate and a safety issue it also reduce the value of homes please help give the residents of Raleigh street the opportunity to have a clean and safe environment
To many drugs are been sold behind this building and people are breaking in homes ....its not safe
Its a waste of space, remove it ! #iagree

This place is a magnet for trouble. Seeing kids walking by there all the time scares me. Just tear it down before someone gets hurt for real.
