PETITION TO REMOVE UNION AS REPRESENTATIVE
The Flight Attendants of Republic Airways do not want to be represented by Teamsters, hereafter referred to as “union”.
Should the undersigned employees constitute 30% or more, but less than 50%, of the bargaining unit represented by the union, the undersigned employees hereby petition the National Mediation Board to hold a decertification election to determine whether the majority of employees also no longer wish to be represented by the union.
In addition, should the undersigned employees constitute 50% or more of the bargaining unit represented by the union, the undersigned employees hereby request that our employer immediately withdraw recognition from the union, as it does not enjoy the support of a majority of employees in the bargaining unit.

It would have been easy to get many of the benefits the pilots received on their last contract. Could have used most of it for a template, but those representing us in the Union are trying to sell us a poor contract and saying it is so good. Now is the time for change to a group who understands us and will represent US!!
We need to be with a union dedicated to our workforce. Teamsters are "over the road" i.e. truckers, union, not aviation. We need to be with the AFA, Association of Flight Attendants, union.
Representation has been inadequate and unenthusiastic in negotiating sufficient compensation for Republic Airways Flight Attendant’s.
This Union is useless. I filed a grievance and it took three years to get it done. He had 360+ grievances that had been just sitting there. They are not for us. They are asking for us to give to the company. This contract would make life worse for all. The company is getting more back in compensation for them then we are getting from company. I was AFA for twenty years.
I have friends as stewards and I know they personally care about the Flight Attendants. But I feel that the union has lost sight of who they’re working for. We need change. I would like to see what AFA could do for us.
They have to go!
Please let’s change this company. We need good representatives

After all of these ridiculous union fees and arrears, I am barely able to support myself until the next paycheck. Besides that, I am tired of being unappreciated as a FA as I’m sure we all are. Our union does the absolute bare minimum for us AND they are making a ridiculous amount of money off of us. Trash is disposable, WE ARE NOT. They have got to GO.
